England - Yorkshire Dales to Lake District

St Nicholas Church houses the Marmion Tombs, alabaster effigies sitting in an ancient wrought iron hearse. Sir John Marmion died in 1387 and Lady Elizabith in 1400. He was a knight and died fighting in Spain with John of Gaunt who was the the Earl of Richmond.
